Interested in learning more about grief and loss? Here are a couple of workshops that I am offering:
How to Support a Grieving Loved One
Do you know someone who is grieving a loss? Are you unsure of how to support them? Come to this FREE two-hour workshop and learn why and how we grieve, and ways to support someone who has had a significant loss. Losses can be caused by death, illness, injury, and disintegration of relationships, or life transitions such as retirement, relocation/immigration, and shifts in identity. Find out how you can be a source of love and compassion to someone who is struggling to process and integrate their loss(es) into their lives.
relating across differences:
Providing grief support through an anti-oppressive and diversity lens
Do you work with children and youth who are experiencing loss? Learn practical tips for helping children and youth understand death and supporting their grieving process. Also learn about the role of Cultural Humility in grief work and how to work with diverse populations. Please note this workshop is offered within Module 2: When Death Darkens the Door: Supporting Bereaved Children and Youth of the Five-Day Certificate Program in Children's Grief and Bereavement offered by Andrea Warnick.
